Ectasia Corneal

Ectasia

How it works

A lens with sag and 9mm chord markings

Depth-based fitting

The EyeSpace® Ectasia Corneal uses sagittal depth (SAG) rather than curvature, allowing fitting in three simple steps:

  1. match the central back optic zone,
  2. match the lens SAG to the corneal height at the 9.00 mm chord, and
  3. specify edge lift.

An integrated online calculator automatically generates an optimised lens design (including BVP calculations) from your clinical assessment of a trial lens or existing lens with known parameters.
